Live It Local is an annual event which takes place in Florence, Italy. Our own summer Arte al Solesite Palazzo San Niccolò participates, along with their stunning sister site, Palazzo Belfiore nearby. Our Florence kids art workshops were featured, with fun for the whole family on vacation or living in Florence. We showcased our week-long summer camps, as well as our year-round art workshops and guided family tours for private family programs, is a joyous occasion celebrating the dynamic community of the Oltrarno* neighborhood that we love.
Artist and Arte al Sole docent, Andi, hosted our booth which included a collaborative painting project for guests of all ages inspired by the 14th-century frescoes of the beautiful Clarice apartment, one of our favorite options for a family holiday apartment in general. Andi also featured her Artist for a Day workshops and tours, an option we love to book for our clients who want to get to know the art and culture of Florence in a unique and integrated way.
Other guests included many of our valued partners, from the Cusi Florence car service, to local chefs and cooking schools, local tour guides, photographers, and Oltrarno neighborhood artists. Gracious hosts Federico and Francesca (brother and sister) have created an admirable hub for local community and collaboration at the Palazzo that every year contributes to the memory-making local experience our Arte al Sole families enjoy.
