Arte al Sole is pleased to announce a collaboration with Palazzo San Niccolo to offer weekly Florence kids art workshop at the palazzo. Each week students ages 6-12 can explore the art and history of Florence with a fun and engaging project! Parents can stroll along the river in this beautiful Oltrarno area, or enjoy a snack at the palazzo’s newly opened cafe while the kids are in class.

Bronze Doors Etchings – kids can reinvent their own versions of the passionate stories depicted in Ghiberti’s Bronze Doors with this glimmering etching and storytelling project. 50 euro per student. All materials included. Click to Register

Etruscan Urns – kids will have fun learning about the mysterious, sophisticated culture of the ancient Etruscan civilization of Tuscany through stories told on Etruscan pottery. We will then create our own Tuscan urn designs as paintings! 50 euro per student. All materials included. Click to Register

Tuscan Landscape Collage – kids will capture the beauty of the landscapes surrounding Florence, and learn about advancements in perspective and the use of color, with this fun multi-medium collage projects. 50 euro per student. All materials included. Click to Register

Olive Branch Painting – we will look at how the enduring symbol of the olive tree in the Mediterranean is depicted in art from ancient Roman frescoes to Renaissance landscapes. Duomo Reimagined – it took a lot of imagination to achieve the unprecedented architectural design of the Florence Duomo in the 15th century. Kids can step into Brunelleschi’s creative shoes to re-imagine the Duomo design from their own unique perspectives. 50 euro per student. All materials included. Click to Register
