Murano Glassworking Studio Visit with Glass Bead Art Workshop (3 hours)
Visit an actual Glassblowing Furnace on the Venetian island of Murano. Our docents will help you discover
the fine art of the master craftsmen who have been creating beautiful hand-blown glass objects and
artworks here for centuries.
– Families arrive by boat where our guide will take them to visit a working glass furnace or two, to see
artisans in action (1.5 hrs)
– Families break to visit shops, have lunch and explore on their own
– Families return by Waterbus or Watertaxi to Venice proper where kids will get to create their very own
light catchers, necklaces or fantasy creations using our master craftsmans handblown glass beads – no two

most Venetian style of dress that became so popular it had to be outlawed! Your kids will create their very
own papier-maché mask, decorating it in traditional Carnevale di Venezia style. Also available for birthday

The Grand Canal as a Merchant of Venice: A Role Playing Game for Families (2.5 hours)
Your mission: Build your very own palace overlooking the Grand Canal. In this fantastical role-playing game,
you are a family of merchants, just arrived in Venice…Enjoy an engaging private boat ride along the Grand
Canal to be fully immersed in life during the Serenissima Republic like illustrious visitors of days long by.
Through a series of challenges to be overcome, exchanging goods and helping historical characters, you will
get the materials needed to build your “palazzo”!
This game for the whole family will allow you to discover the most beautiful palaces along the Grand Canal
and learn about the history of the people who lived in them. Afterwards, kids will enjoy a unique 1-hour
architectural watercolor art lesson in which they will design their dream palazzo now that they are wealthy

Lion Hunt! And Animal Mask Workshop (2.5 hours)
Symbol of Venice, the entire island is peppered with the famous winged lion. But there are plenty more lion
beasts to discover. We will take you into a stunning quiet section of town, where your kids will spot the stone
lions and learn about the places around them – before going into our exclusive art lab to craft their very
own animal masks, decorated our hand-made papier-mache masks steeped in Venetian tradition, while

Mystery & Fantasy in Venice: Treasure Hunt Exploration & Art Workshop (3 hours)
A treasure hunt for thewhole family. An original way to discover the mysteries and symbols illustrating the history of Venice. With the help of a map, photos of clues, a quiz and a fun and engaging teacher, Venice’s fascinating curiosities are brought to life for the whole family. Our treasure hunt will take us to the fantastic spaces of Campo Santa Maria Formosa and the Querini Stampalia Foundation (1.5 hrs). Afterward, the kids will have an exclusive Arte al Sole art experience; a comic strip workshop where they will use the symbols they have learned to craft their very own story. The Tiepolo Affair & The Burning Of The Rialto Bridge( 2.5 hours)
It’s 1310, and a group of aristocrats plot to overthrow the Doge – the Governor of the old Venetian
Republic. In this role playing game for the whole family, participants will discover some of the court intrigue
and repercussions of Venice’s turbulent past – taking on different roles to win the final prize. Participants
will be divided into teams and will have to find clues and items amidst the iconic places connected to the
plot to overthrow the Doge – But will you succeed? After, you will enjoy a typically Venetian aperitivo –
sampling delicious treats while hearing what happened to the families – including a Princess – involved in
