How To Pack for a Family Vacation
The length of your holiday will determine how much you pack, however, we recommend packing light not only for parents, but for kids as well. Ground transportation is never simple in Italy, and chances are, kids however young will need to be able to manage being responsible for at least one bag, if not all of their bags.We suggest that families pack no more than one carry-on or similar size suitcase, with very sturdy handles and wheels due to cobblestone streets and such, and one backpack per

Family Chocolate Factory Tour in Perugia, Italy
While staying at Colle San Paolo (our Arte al Sole Umbria camp and farmhouses) located near Lake Trasimeno, one of the highlights of our visit to Umbria was touring the Perugina Casa del Cioccolato located in the Baci by Perugina factory in Perugia, Italy. Located on the outskirts of Perugia, visitors can discover the world of chocolate making by Baci – Kisses. We have found that the tour is somewhat less interactive than in years past, but families with young children still enjoy a visit to a
